So I did the unthinkable last Thursday...I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Suzuki SX4 crossover. After many months of faithfully commuting and enduring many bouts of honda cancer, Whitey will be laid to rest following next Sunday's autox. A faithful and efficient car!
But here is the newer and better replacement: A deep sea blue awd crossover vehicle. After shopping around for used Subaru wagons and 1st gen crvs, I found the Suzuki sx4. A compact car, it has a selectable awd system and outshines the subcompact competitors with available features and options. Combined with a great warranty, it is a great deal and an extremely versatile daily driver. It is the cheapest and most fuel efficient AWD vehicle offered in North America. The car is sold worldwide and is badged as a Fiat Sedici in Europe.
My model is a loaded Touring 2 hatch in 5 speed. It has many amenities not typically found in an economy car, including auto climate control, heated mirrors, subwoofer, 6-disc changer, fog lights, etc. Hopefully it will get some small modifications, but remain basically stock... at least for now :)
