A pictureless update on the ghia: As of last night all of the hard and soft lines on the ghia had been replaced with the exception of two lines that travelled through and over the crossmember respectively. I gave everything a final torque and then began the process of bleeding the brakes with the help of a moto buddy. Sure enough a couple leaks sprung up, there are two silly lines that run from the master cylinder reservoir to the master cylinder, no standard hose sizes will fit properly and consequently we had a weeper there. To make matters worse, one of the two lines that i did not replace must have sheared while being removed and was leaking right out the tube. No worries i bought a whole hardline kit for the ghia, but do i have the correct size line left over to replace it? Obviously not, the line provided in the kit was about 6" too short for this application and now the brakes have been delayed once again!
One step forward... two backwards. Screw the Ghia lets ride moto!
